Requirements
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose and treat developmental, physical, emotional, and sensory challenges in pediatric patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on the unique needs and goals of each child.
- Provide therapy sessions using various techniques and interventions to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
- Collaborate with families to educate and involve them in their child’s therapy process, ensuring carryover of skills into daily activities.
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including speech therapists, physical therapists, and educators, to provide a holistic approach to care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and therapy sessions.
- Stay current with the latest research and advancements in pediatric occupational therapy to ensure evidence-based practice.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of interdisciplinary treatment strategies.
